Explosion-proof mobile phones are designed specifically for relevant personnel under risk conditions, and can be used without causing risks, such as flammable and explosive materials.
In the classification of explosion-proof mobile phones, the more common types include explosion-proof (Exd), flameproof (Exe), and intrinsically safe (Exia/ib).

Explosion-proof (Exd) This is the highest level of explosion-proof mobile phone, suitable for the highest level of hazardous environments.
The phone is made of a unique material and has a closed housing to prevent flammable gases from entering and causing risks.
In use, special explosion-proof batteries and releasers are required to ensure normal operation of the phone in highly explosive gas environments.

Explosion-proof type (Exe) is another relatively common explosion-proof mobile phone grade, which is generally used in offices with relatively low levels of flammable gas natural environment.
Increased safety explosion-proof mobile phones are more stringent in production materials and design than ordinary mobile phones, and can prevent fires or explosions caused by sparks or electrostatic induction between electronic components.

Intrinsically safe (Exia/ib) explosion-proof mobile phones are very suitable for low level hazardous environments.
The use of safer power circuits, batteries, and housing materials for mobile phones ensures that there are no risks involved.
More stringent safeguards must be taken to ensure the reliable operation of explosion-proof mobile phones.

Explosion-proof signs are divided into three categories:

Type I: Underground electrical equipment in coal mines;

Type II: Electrical equipment for all explosive gas atmospheres except coal mines and underground mines.

Class II can be divided into Class IIA, Class IIB, and Class IIC. Machines marked with Class IIB are suitable for the use of Class IIA equipment;
IIC is applicable to the use conditions of IIA and IIB

Scope of application of IIA and IIB.

Type III: Electrical equipment for explosive dust natural environments other than coal mines.

Class IIIA: flammable flying flocs;
Class IIIB: non conductive dust;
Class IIIC: Conductive dust.

Different levels of explosion-proof mobile phones are suitable for different levels of hazardous environments.
When selecting explosion-proof mobile phones, it is necessary to select them based on the hazard level of the actual working environment.
The correct selection and use of explosion-proof mobile phones is an important measure to ensure the safety of staff.
